THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS

Government attorneys bring different priorities and perspectives to their handling of an investigation of or suit against your company.  Next Tuesday, former Associate Attorney General Tom Perrelli (now a partner at Jenner & Block) will  share his perspective from both sides of the "looking glass" in a way that will ensure your company doesn't miss important opportunities or make any of the most common big mistakes in facing off against the government.  The luncheon will take place on Tuesday, May 21, starting at 12 noon at The Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner.  For more details and registration, please visit http://www.cvent.com/d/rcq50g

Stay Out Of the Penalty Box

Is your organization struggling to develop a social media policy that respects individual expression but is also are consistent with institutional interests, values, HR policies, and the law?Perhaps you can take a lesson from the sports and entertainment industries, where one star’s tweet or text can evolve into a major concern about popularity, reputation and, sometimes, liability. An all-star panel of attorneys for sports and media interests will provide guidance on best practices at this special CLE and networking event on Wed., June 5, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at The GWU School of Business.  For full details and registration, please visit http://www.cvent.com/d/hcqbn3
