We know what it's like to walk into a meeting filled with three thousand people not knowing a soul. So, we've put together some tips to help you get better acquainted
Tip 1—Attend the New Member/First Time Attendee Breakfast.
Are you new to ACC? Is this your first ACC Annual Meeting? If yes, you should plan to attend this informal new member/first timer orientation on Monday, October 23. Join your peers for breakfast, hear from ACC leaders on member benefits, view a live demonstration of ACCÕs online resources, and meet new contacts with whom you may share the first time attendee experience. To receive more information about this event, check the appropriate box on your registration form. This event is for ACC members only. Questions should be directed to Danielle Boshart, director, membership operations: 202.293.4103, ext. 307; boshart@acca.com.
Tip 2—Review all of the networking opportunities that will take place at the meeting
Be sure to note these on your schedule so you can take advantage of these chances to get to know your peers.
Tip 3—Stop by the ACC Booth.

- Local Networking Opportunities- Learn about innovative programs and events taking place in our 46 chapters, and how to get more involved in your chapter.
- Committees: Find out how you can participate in the monthly conference calls, and in meaningful discussions on any of the 14 Committee Listservs. From Litigation to eCommerce to International Law, the committees can keep you on top of developments in the in-house arena.
- Changed titles? Jobs? View and update your membership record to ensure ACC has the most up-to-date information on you.
Tip 4—Visit the Exhibit Hall.
