Hotel Reservations Reservations may be made by phone, fax, or online. You will receive a confirmation from the hotel indicating the hotel reservation cancellation policy. When making reservations, indicate that you are attending ACC's 2004 Annual Meeting to receive the group rate. The reservation cutoff date is September 21, 2004 for the Sheraton Chicago, and October 2 for the Hyatt Regency Chicago, our overflow hotel; however we strongly recommend you make your reservations NOW as rooms often sell out in advance of the cutoff date! Complimentary Hotel Shuttle Service Available at Annual Meeting A complimentary shuttle service between the Sheraton Chicago, site of the ACC Annual Meeting, and overflow meeting hotels will run continuously from 6:30 am - 8:00 pm on October 25-26 and from 6:30 am - 3:30 pm on October 27. Airline Discounts United Airlines is the official airline for ACC's 2004 Annual Meeting and will offer discounts to both domestic and international attendees. Follow the instructions below to receive this special promotion. Domestic U.S. Attendees United has offered domestic attendees a 5% discount off the lowest applicable discount fare, including first class, or a 10% discount off unrestricted, fully refundable coach fares, purchased 0 days in advance. An additional 5% discount will apply when tickets are purchased at least 30 days in advance of your travel date. These discounts are valid on travel to and from Chicago between October 20 and November 1, 2004. To reserve your ticket, call United at 1.800.521.4041 to book your reservation and refer to meeting ID number 522 RF. These discounts are available on code share flights operated by US Airways, Air Canada, and Lufthansa. International Attendees United has offered international attendees a 10% discount off the lowest applicable fare, including business class, or a 15% discount off unrestricted, fully refundable coach fares, purchased 0 days in advance. An additional 5% discount will apply when tickets are purchased at least 60 days in advance of your travel date. These discounts are valid on travel to and from Chicago between October 20 and November 1, 2004 and do not apply to Star Alliance or code share flights. Airport Transportation The Sheraton Chicago, ACC's 2004 Annual Meeting host hotel, is located approximately 25 minutes from Midway Airport and 45 minutes from O'Hare International Airport. From Midway Airport, Airport Express Shuttle runs to the hotel every 20 minutes for $15 one-way and $27 round trip. Taxi service is available for approximately $30 one-way. Train service is available on the Orange Line for $1.50 one-way. Take the train to the Randolph/Wabash station, and then a taxi to the hotel for approximately $5.00. From O'Hare International Airport, Airport Express Shuttle runs to the hotel every 10-15 minutes for $20 one-way and $37 round trip. Taxi service is available for approximately $40 one-way. Train service is available on the Blue Line for $1.50 one-way. Take the train to the Lake/Clark station, and then a taxi to the hotel for approximately $5.00.
