Association's In-house Counsel Community Continues to Grow During Tough Economic TimesThe Association of Corporate Counsel Welcomes Chevron Counsel as its 25,000th MemberPosted: Nov 19, 2008 Washington, D.C. (November 19, 2008) – The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) announced that it had reached 25,000 members worldwide this month and welcomes Mayda Prego, Senior Counsel, Chevron Corporation, for helping the association arrive at this significant milestone. The growth in membership reconfirms the value ACC offers its members and represents a symbol of inspiration for the association and its members during such a volatile shift in the economy. Notably, this milestone comes one year after ACC’s 25th Anniversary. “We appreciate Ms. Prego’s support and we welcome her to our in-house counsel community,” says ACC President Frederick J. Krebs. “ACC provides practical resources and services for our members’ personal and professional needs to help them save time, money and effort. One important aspect of our value proposition is the interaction among in-house peers, and we look forward to Ms. Prego’s involvement with ACC’s South Florida Chapter.” As a gesture of appreciation for Ms. Prego’s interest and support, ACC will provide complimentary registration to attend the ACC Europe Annual Conference (June 7-9, 2009 in Geneva), ACC’s 2009 Annual Meeting (October 18-21, 2009 in Boston, MA), and a one-year program fee waiver from the South Florida Chapter. |
