ACC Announces 2015 Board of Directors
General Counsel from UniGroup, PETCO, United Retirement Plan Consultants, Bank of Montreal, John Deere Asia and DuPont Canada Join 2015 Board

WASHINGTON (October 29, 2014) –– The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), a global bar association representing more than 35,000 in-house counsel, today announced new officers and members to the ACC 2015 Board of Directors. The new leaders were elected immediately following the installment of new Board Chairman, John Page, senior vice president, chief corporate social responsibility officer & chief legal officer for Golden State Foods Corp., during the 2014 ACC Annual Meeting in New Orleans.

“The 2015 ACC board of directors brings together general counsel and business leaders from Canada, Qatar, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States,” said Veta T. Richardson, president and CEO of ACC. “As we continue to expand our global reach and increase members’ access to networking and resources across borders, the ACC board of directors continues to chart the association’s strategic direction.”

The 2015 ACC board of directors include general counsel and chief legal officers representing Fortune 100, Fortune 500 and Global 1000 corporations. The 2014 officers are as follows:

  • Fredrick “Russ” Dempsey, senior vice president & chief legal officer, United Retirement Plan Consultants
  • Simon A. Fish, executive vice president & general counsel, Bank of Montreal
  • Jo Anne Schwendinger, regional general counsel – Asia Pacific & Sub-Saharan Africa, John Deere Asia
  • Ernest A. Tuckett, general counsel, DuPont Canada
