Robert I. Townsend Member of the Year Award

ACC Corporate Pro Bono Award

The ACC Corporate Pro Bono Award recognizes outstanding achievement by a corporate counsel or a corporate legal department in providing pro bono legal services. ACC defines pro bono service as legal services provided to the indigent or a charitable non-profit.

Matthew J. Whitehead, II Diversity Award

The ACC Matthew J. Whitehead, II Diversity Award honors the memory of Matthew J. Whitehead, II, an ACC Board member and former Foundation president from 1992 to 2002, who passed away in April 2002. The award celebrates the life and legacy of a visionary CLO who made diversity a core value of ACC membership, activities and leadership.

The award recognizes outstanding achievement by a corporate counsel or a corporate legal department in creating a program or initiative that increases awareness of and commitment to corporate legal diversity, and/or the improvement of employment, retention, advancement, and career path opportunities for lawyers of diverse constituencies.
